⚙️ Policy Recompute (one-time)
Re-classify every OT session under the latest policy (Eve from 6:30 PM, Wknd 1:1 raw, Mid 1:2 raw, etc.). Click Preview first to see what changes — nothing is written until you click Apply.
📦 Archive Policy Violators
Marks OT sessions whose start time falls in the now-blocked weekday window (UAE 7:30 AM–6:30 PM / KSA 8:00 AM–7:00 PM) as archived. They stop counting toward CO but stay visible (dimmed) in the employee's history with the reason recorded. To avoid balances going negative, the oldest violators are retained up to the amount of CO already used. Re-runnable; idempotent.
Sessions before the From date are exempt. Default 2026-01-01.
🔄 Re-evaluate Archived Sessions
Sweeps archived sessions and un-archives any that now qualify for partial credit under the latest rules (e.g. a weekday session ending past 6:30 PM UAE / 7:00 PM KSA gets credit for the post-threshold portion). Sessions entirely inside regular hours stay archived.
🗑️ Purge Old Archived/Rejected Sessions (DESTRUCTIVE)
Permanently deletes any archived or rejected OT session older than 1 year. Use annually to keep the table tidy. Take a Full Backup first (see above).
OT Policy Reference
Eve (weekday session ending after 6:30PM UAE / 7:00PM KSA, no midnight cross): 1:1 always. 8 credited hrs = 1 Comp Off day.
Eve/Split (starts 6:30PM+, crosses midnight): Eve portion at 1:1 + Midnight portion doubled at 1:2. Cap 8hrs total.
Early Morning (start 5:00 AM–7:29 AM UAE / 5:00 AM–7:59 AM KSA): 1:1 always. Credit is capped at the regular-hours boundary (UAE 7:30 AM / KSA 8:00 AM) — only the time before regular working hours counts as OT. 8 credited hrs = 1 Comp Off day (pools with Eve hours).
Midnight (crosses midnight before 6:30 PM, or starts before 5 AM): <4hrs raw = 1:1, ≥4hrs raw = 1:2 (qualifies for CO). Credit capped at morning block start (UAE 7:30 AM / KSA 8:00 AM) — time after that is regular hours. 8 credited hrs = 1 Comp Off day.
Weekend — UAE (Sat/Sun) or KSA (Fri/Sat): 1:1 always. Credited = actual hours worked (no cap). 8 credited hrs = 1 Comp Off day.
⚠️ Weekday OT submission rule:
UAE employees: OT cannot start between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM. Eve band starts at 6:30 PM.
KSA employees (Salman Aziz, Mohammed Afsal): OT cannot start between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Eve band starts at 7:00 PM.
Does not apply to weekends.
Comp Off rules: Full Day=1 day, Half Day=0.5. Submit request → Manager approves → appears in balance.
Annual Leave: 22 working days per year. Sick Leave: 12 days per year. Submit request → Manager approves → deducted from balance.
